Cathodic Epoxy Immersion

Once the parts are fully prepped, the finish coating begins. Using a process called electrodeposition, the parts are immersed in a cathodic epoxy material supplied by PPG. This is the first lead-free and HAPs-free electrocoat with corrosion performance equaling leaded electrocoats, making it the most environmentally friendly electrocoat on the market today. The coating thickness ranges from 0.4 mm-1.2 mm, and is controlled to the customer's specifications...

After the parts have been coated, they are sent through three post rinse stages,
